Why This Exists

From someone who's living it

My name is Karan. In April 2024, I lost my wife overnight. No warning. No goodbye. Just... gone.

I was left with three kids—aged 5, 4, and 2—and absolutely no clue how to do this alone. The mornings felt impossible. Bedtime was chaos. And the questions... the endless questions from tiny humans who couldn't understand why their world had just shattered.

I didn't have time to fall apart (though I did anyway, usually around 9pm in the bathroom). I had to figure out how to keep going—not just surviving, but actually living. For them. For me.

So I started writing. Not the "you've got this!" motivational BS—I needed real fixes. Word-for-word scripts. 10-minute strategies that actually worked when I was running on 3 hours of sleep and leftover chicken nuggets.

That's how SolveIn10 was born—to help others find pain relief through humor and practical solutions that don't require superhuman strength.

I also share our journey—the messy, real, sometimes funny moments of rebuilding life with three little humans—over on Instagram at @thedadrebuilds. If you need support or just want to know you're not alone, come say hi. ❤️

If you're reading this because life just turned your world upside down—this guide is for you. It's free. No strings. Just one parent to another. ❤️

What's Inside This Guide

Real strategies that work when you're too tired to think straight

The "Bare Minimum" List

Write down the absolute must-dos for today. Feed the kids. Keep everyone alive. One clean outfit. Everything else is optional.

The "Emergency Laugh" File

Save 3 things that reliably make you laugh—memes, clips, anything. When the tears come, hit play. Laughter isn't disrespectful. It's oxygen.

The "Tiny Wins" Jar

Every time you get through something hard, write it down and drop it in a jar. On the bad days, read a few. Proof that you're still doing this.

The "Help Me" Script

Practice saying: "I need help with ___. Can you do it?" Specific asks make it easier for people to show up—and for you to accept it.

The 5-Minute Reset

When you're close to losing it: Lock the bathroom. Sit. Breathe. Text someone. The world can wait five minutes.

The "Messy Bedtime" Rule

If bedtime is chaos, skip the guilt. Read something short. Hug longer. Let the mess wait. If you fall asleep in their bed, that's not failure. That's exhaustion.
